Data controller
Polimex Trade Inc. (Reg. 737573816, 10225 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3B2, Canada) is the data controller for all personal data collected via PackIndex and PACKIQ. Contact: live@opnplatform.com.
What we collect
Account data: name, work email, company name, job title (optional). Usage data: pages viewed, indices accessed, session timestamps, feature interactions. Payment data: subscription status and billing dates only — card details are processed exclusively by Stripe and never reach our servers. Pulse signals: anonymised directional market signals.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your data under the following legal bases: (a) Contract performance — account delivery, subscription management, transactional emails; (b) Legitimate interest — platform improvement, aggregated analytics, fraud prevention; (c) Consent — marketing emails (opt-in only, withdrawable at any time).
How we use your data
To deliver PackIndex and PACKIQ services. To process and manage your subscription. To send transactional emails (receipts, plan changes, credit awards). To improve index accuracy using aggregated, anonymous Pulse signals. To detect and prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their marketing purposes.
Pulse contributions
When you submit a Pulse signal, only the anonymised directional signal (up/down/flat, volume band, lead time) is stored and aggregated into the diffusion model. The raw signal is processed and anonymised within 60 seconds of receipt. Your company name, specific contract values, and supplier names are stripped before storage.
Third-party processors
Stripe (payment processing, PCI DSS Level 1). Google Analytics 4 (anonymised usage analytics — no personally identifiable data transmitted). DeepSeek AI (PACKIQ agent inference — inputs processed in-session only, not retained, not used for training). Railway (cloud hosting infrastructure). We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie for authentication (expires on browser close or after 24h inactivity). Google Analytics uses a first-party analytics cookie. Your platform preferences are stored in browser localStorage only. No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
International transfers
Our servers are hosted in the EU and US (Railway infrastructure). If you are located in the EEA, transfers to the US are made under EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors where applicable.
Data retention
Account data: retained for the duration of your account plus 24 months after deletion. Usage analytics: 24 months then purged. Payment records: 7 years (tax compliance). Pulse signals (anonymised aggregate only): indefinite as part of the index model.
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection law you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. Submit requests to live@opnplatform.com — we respond within 30 days.
