What we do
Open Packaging Network (OPN) builds data and AI tools for the global packaging industry. PackIndex is our live commodity intelligence platform. PACKIQ is our AI co-worker platform for packaging buyers, converters, and finance teams.
The problem we solve
Packaging prices are negotiated in the dark. Buyers sign contracts without knowing what the market is doing. PackIndex changes that — every negotiation anchored in data, not guesswork.
The data model
We built a three-layer model tracing price from raw polymer or pulp all the way through to a finished unit. No other public source connects OCC movements to corrugated box prices in one view.
Contributor model
PackIndex combines freely available public data (FOEX, PIE, LME, ICE) with anonymised signals from packaging buyers and converters. Contributors earn PACKIQ credits redeemable for AI co-worker runs.
