Grok Bot signs in through your Cursor account, so the sign-in page names Cursor. A server added in Cursor's settings does not carry over to Grok Bot. Uses your PackIndex plan.

Questions

How do I add PackIndex to Grok Bot?

In chat say: “Add a custom MCP server called packindex at https://opnplatform.com/api/mcp”. Select Add it, then Authorize and sign in. Type @ and pick packindex to use it.

And in the Grok app?

Open grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom and paste the server address. Price questions work without signing in. On Grok Business an admin adds the connector for the team first.

Does it cost extra?

No. Price questions work without an account and show the free reference values. Signed in, your own PackIndex plan applies exactly as on the website: live values on Essential and above, Suite runs for Design Studio, PACKIQ credits for agents and your Exchange plan for RFQs.

What does PackIndex see from my chats?

Only what the assistant passes to a PackIndex tool, such as an index code or a quantity — never your chat history, memories or files.

How do I disconnect?

Remove PackIndex in the assistant, or open opnplatform.com/portal → Settings → MCP Access and revoke it.

PackIndex also works in ChatGPT · Claude · Microsoft Copilot · Cursor, and any MCP client — tools, permissions and setup.
